Two men arrested after raif for robbery

Three cargo vehicles were also seized during the operation in Villa Las Flores

As a result of ministerial work, intelligence gathering, and operational follow-up conducted by the Deputy Prosecutor's Office for Regional Investigation, a search warrant was executed to continue the investigation into a robbery that occurred in Puerto Vallarta.

Following the formal complaint, the search warrant was requested and obtained, and its execution led to the arrest of Leonardo “N” and Guillermo Alonso “N” for their alleged involvement in the crime of aggravated robbery. The operation took place on April 22 at a property located in the Villa Las Flores neighborhood.

The operation resulted in the seizure of three cargo vehicles, allegedly linked to the illicit activities of the suspects: a white 2016 Volkswagen Caddy van and two Nissan NP300 refrigerated pickup trucks, models 2023 and 2019.

The events stem from a complaint filed by a company that transports marine supplies. According to the investigation, the accused stole cash and more than 3,000 kilograms of product.

To conceal the theft, it is presumed that those involved simulated the existence of the inventory in the cold storage unit by replacing the product with bricks, stones, and newspapers, resulting in a financial loss exceeding 750,000 pesos.

The property remains in the custody of the authorities to continue the investigation and determine legal responsibility.

With these actions, the State Prosecutor's Office reaffirms its commitment to exhaust all investigative resources to combat crimes against property and guarantee the rule of law in all regions of Jalisco.
