More than 660 Vehicles Impounded During Traffic Operations in PV
Most of the vehicles impounded in April were motorcycles for various traffic violations
The Puerto Vallarta Traffic and Road Safety Sub-Directorate conducted various operations during April focused on unregistered motorcycles, abandoned vehicles, and cars that violated traffic regulations. These actions resulted in a total of 664 vehicles impounded in the municipality.
Of the total vehicles impounded, 487 were motorcycles seized for various traffic violations, in addition to 130 private vehicles, six taxis, and 41 abandoned cars, according to the agency's monthly report.
Furthermore, one of the most active operations was "Unregistered Motorcycles," carried out in neighborhoods such as El Pitillal, Coapinole, Ramblases, Mojoneras, Las Juntas, and Ixtapa.
In these operations, 313 motorcycles were impounded and 315 citations were issued for various violations related to documentation, license plates, and safety measures.

At the same time, authorities responded to 71 reports of abandoned vehicles on public roads. After the corresponding inspections, 41 vehicles were removed and taken to the impound lot, while another 30 were moved by their owners before being impounded.
With these actions, the traffic police seek to maintain greater control on the streets and address issues related to safety, mobility, and urban order in different areas of Puerto Vallarta.
