PV Government maintains coordination with authorities following recent events in Nayarit

No incidents have been registered in Puerto Vallarta. Public, economic, and social activities are proceeding normally

In response to the events in the neighboring state of Nayarit, the Puerto Vallarta Municipal Government reports that it is maintaining constant coordination with state and federal authorities to monitor the situation and ensure security in the municipality.

Currently, it is confirmed that no incidents have been reported within the municipal territory and that public, economic, and social activities are proceeding normally.

Furthermore, it is reported that the Interregional Security Council confirmed that the incident in Bahía de Banderas, involving a vehicle fire in front of a supermarket, was caused by a mechanical failure and is unrelated to the arrest of an individual allegedly linked to a criminal group.

The public is urged not to spread information that does not come from official sources and to rely solely on announcements issued through official channels.

Security and civil protection agencies will continue with preventive measures and corresponding surveillance operations, in accordance with established protocols.

The Puerto Vallarta City Council reiterates its commitment to the safety and well-being of its residents and will promptly report any relevant updates.
