The Intelligence Police's drone unit deployed an operation to apprehend him in Puerto Vallarta
As a result of an operation planned by the Intelligence Police, Jalisco State Police officers captured a man in Puerto Vallarta who was wanted for serious crimes in the United States.
State officers received an alert from the U.S. Marshals Service regarding the search for Cristian "N," indicating that he was possibly in the aforementioned municipality in Jalisco.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, the 21-year-old, originally from Los Angeles, California, was wanted for homicide, attempted homicide, firearms offenses, and drug-related crimes.
With this information, members of the Intelligence Police's Drone Unit established a multi-platform data analysis, identified locations he allegedly frequented, and planned an operation with agents from the General Police Station.
This deployment yielded results at the intersection of Aldama and 15 de Mayo streets in the Las Palmas neighborhood, where they located an individual matching the target's description.
Once they verified his identity and determined that he had entered the country irregularly, he was apprehended and transported with the support of a helicopter from the Air Tactical Squadron and a Goliath unit from the Tactical Operations Group (GOT). He was then turned over to the National Institute of Migration to determine his legal status.
