Red flags fly at two beaches in PV

Burros and Camarones (south side) beaches have just raised red flag, as five other fly yellow ones

The Puerto Vallarta Civil Protection Department reported in its latest beach conditions report that the red flag has been raised at Burros and Camarones (south side) beaches, which means swimming is prohibited.

Meanwhile, yellow flags fly at other 5 beaches in the port.

🟡 Playa Palmares
🟡 Playa Conchas Chinas
🟡 Playa Muertos
🔴 Playa Burros
🟡 Playa Camarones (lado norte)
🔴 Playa Camarones (lado sur)
🟡 Playa Flamingos
🟡 Playa de Oro

This brings the total number of beaches in the municipality where swimming caution is advised to five. Visitors are strongly urged to follow all Civil Protection instructions due to the current maritime risks in these areas.

Remember: A red flag strictly prohibits swimming, while a yellow flag indicates that swimming should only be done with extreme caution.
