PV Reinforces Public Safety with 35 Patrol Cars, Equipment, and Uniforms
This is part of Puerto Vallarta's preparations for the challenges posed by the 2026 FIFA World Cup
The city council announced that 35 new patrol cars will be delivered in the coming weeks, funded by the 2026 Fund for Contributions to Strengthen Municipalities and Territorial Demarcations of the Federal District (FORTAMUN), along with new equipment and uniforms for officers.
This is part of Puerto Vallarta's preparations for the challenges presented by the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the arrival of visitors from around the world.

In addition, Public Safety officers were urged to redouble their efforts to provide sensitive and timely service to better support the residents of Puerto Vallarta.
The announcement also included instructions for strengthening, training, and implementing protection strategies to guarantee the safety of women in the municipality.
