PV's Public Healthcare Clinics Program surpasses 27,000 beneficiaries
More residents of Puerto Vallarta continue to access free health services thanks to the Mobile Medical Clinics, an initiative of the Puerto Vallarta Municipal Government. So far in the current administration, the program has enrolled approximately 27,000 residents.
The Director of Health Promotion emphasized: “Today, health is no longer a barrier to distance. With the Doctor Tucán Clinics, we are bringing professional, free, and high-quality medical care directly to neighborhoods.” He underscored that this effort represents a historic milestone for the municipality, as it is the first municipal government to offer this type of free health service.
As part of these efforts, the Mobile Medical Unit will provide free medical care in the Bugambilias neighborhood, across from the "José Clemente Orozco" Elementary School, at the corner of Rayo and Brisas streets, on April 23 and 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on April 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
During this time, services such as general consultations, dental care, eye exams with free glasses, nutritional counseling, and medications will be offered free of charge. To receive care, you must present your INE (National Electoral Institute) card and proof of address; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
