Public Gallery of the Port celebrates second edition at Hidalgo Park

The public enjoyed a wide-ranging artistic showcase featuring paintings, sculptures, live painting, music, and dance, transforming the park into an open-air gallery

The Vallarta Institute of Culture held the second edition of the Public Gallery of the Port, an initiative that continues to strengthen the bond between art, citizens, and public space through open and accessible cultural activities for everyone.

This time, Hidalgo Park became a meeting point for local artists, visitors, and the community at large, bringing together diverse creative expressions in a day dedicated to promoting Vallarta and regional talent.

For approximately four hours, the public enjoyed a wide-ranging artistic showcase featuring paintings, sculptures, live painting, music, and dance, transforming the park into an open-air gallery brimming with creativity, participation, and cultural exchange.

The artistic program included musical performances by Diego Meza Terrones, DJ Jovana Dávalos, and Bolero Projekt, as well as a presentation by the Ballet Folklórico Tradiciones, who contributed identity, rhythm, and energy to this cultural celebration.

Likewise, dozens of visual artists shared their work with the public, creating a direct space for dialogue between creators and viewers, as well as new opportunities for independent promotion and sales for the participants.

The Puerto Vallarta Public Gallery was created with the aim of decentralizing art exhibitions, activating emblematic spaces in the city, and bringing art to new audiences. Following a successful first edition held on the Malecón in Puerto Vallarta during Art Week, this second event reaffirms the community's interest in experiencing and engaging with cultural offerings in open spaces.
