New Civil Hospital of the Coast will serve more than 300,000 persons
The project was launched at the University Center of the Coast with the aim of transforming healthcare in the region.
Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding region are advancing in strengthening their healthcare infrastructure with the unveiling of the Civil Hospital of the Coast, a landmark project promoted by the Jalisco government, in coordination with the University of Guadalajara and supported by the local administration.
This hospital will benefit more than 300,000 people and will have a construction area exceeding 35,000 square meters. It will operate as a teaching hospital and will have 180 beds, six operating rooms, 35 consultation rooms, and more than 60 medical specialties. "We are not only presenting a project, we are affirming a very deep conviction: health is a right," the Rector of the University of Guadalajara stated.
