As part of prevention efforts and the strengthening of a Civil Protection culture, a drill was conducted in preparation for the National Earthquake and Tsunami Drill, scheduled for May 6th.
This important exercise involved the coordinated participation of various agencies, including the Navy, Jalisco Civil Protection, and the Puerto Vallarta DIF (System for Integral Family Development), joining forces to ensure an effective response to emergency situations.
During the exercise, people were evacuated from the Museum of the 12th Military Zone and safely transported to the temporary shelter set up at the COMUDE (Municipal Sports Commission) facilities.
These actions reaffirm the municipal authorities' commitment to the safety of the population and serve to ensure a timely and organized response to any contingency.
