A room in a ground-floor apartment in a building in La Aurora caught fire yesterday, prompting a response from the fire department.

Neighbors had already partially controlled the flames. Upon arrival, firefighters preemptively evacuated the residents and carried out control, cooling, and hazard mitigation operations.
