Hidalgo Park is being improved by municipal authorities
Town hall's main goal is keeping public spaces clean, tidy, and freshly painted
A cleanup and rehabilitation project was carried out at Hidalgo Park, with the participation and supervision of City's Mayor. This is another action undertaken under this initiative to beautify areas of the municipality, following the recent cleanup of the Cerro de la Cruz viewpoint.
“We are reclaiming spaces that belong to everyone. Hidalgo Park is a meeting point for Puerto Vallarta families and a gateway for thousands of tourists. Keeping it in good condition is a daily task,” stated Mayor Luis Ernesto Munguía during the project.
With the participation of municipal staff and volunteers, gardening work was carried out, including planting ornamental species, general cleaning, painting of facades, and improvements to areas such as the pergolas, where strings of lights and papel picado (cut-paper decorations) will be installed.
The City and Historic Center Manager emphasized that these efforts aim to improve one of the main entrances to the tourist center, so that visitors and families find a clean and pleasant space. Finally, he urged citizens to join in caring for these areas, promoting proper waste disposal and respect for the spaces, to ensure that they remain in optimal condition for everyone.
