City Council approves “Puerto Vallarta Award 2026" call for entries

The submission period for proposals is open until April 27th, 2026

With the goal of publicly recognizing citizens who, through their experience, talent, and commitment, have made outstanding contributions to the development of Puerto Vallarta, the City Council approved the guidelines for the 2026 Puerto Vallarta Award in all its categories during an ordinary session.

The Municipal Government announced this award, which will recognize individuals or organizations that excel in areas such as culture, education, the environment, tourism promotion, sports, social assistance, art, and economic development. Citizens are invited to participate by nominating those they believe deserve this recognition.

Nominations must include general information about the nominated individual or organization, as well as testimonials and documentary evidence that demonstrate their experience and contributions to the Puerto Vallarta community.

Applications will be accepted until April 27, 2026, at the offices of the City Hall's General Secretariat, located in the Municipal Hall, where they will be compiled for subsequent analysis and evaluation by the Advisory Council.

The "Puerto Vallarta Award" will be presented on May 31, 2026, during a formal session of the City Council. For this reason, municipal authorities are calling on the public to actively participate, either by nominating candidates or by sharing the call for nominations, the complete guidelines of which can be found on the official channels of the Municipal Government.
