Fire consumes vessel at Marina Vallarta
Two other vessels were damaged. Dock fire hydrants malfunctioned during emergency
Civil Protection and Fire Department personnel responded to a report of a fire on a vessel docked at Pier 7 in Marina Vallarta.
Upon arrival, immediate mitigation measures were taken to prevent the fire from spreading to two adjacent vessels. These vessels were removed from the fire zone. Both sustained radiant heat damage.
Subsequently, the dock fire hydrants were inspected and found to be inoperative.

Continuing their work, our personnel maintained safety protocols until the vessel began to sink, first by the stern, and then completely by the bow, thus eliminating any risk of reignition.
We continue to work in a coordinated manner to safeguard the safety of citizens and prevent further risks
