SEAPAL Vallarta Stabilizes the North-Central Collector and Advances in its Rehabilitation

In less than 72 hours, the blockage was cleared, the sanitary sewer system stabilized, the intervention area secured, and the sheet piling installation completed

SEAPAL Vallarta reports that the North-Central Collector, considered Puerto Vallarta's main sanitary sewer line, is operating properly following the actions implemented to control the collapse at the intersection of México and Prisciliano Sánchez avenues.

Thanks to the uninterrupted work of the technical and operational teams, in less than 72 hours, the blockage was cleared, the sanitary sewer system stabilized, the intervention area secured, and the sheet piling installation completed in an excavation approximately 6.30 meters deep.

Currently, work is focused on rehabilitating the collector's manhole at this point, an intervention that will fully restore the affected infrastructure and guarantee the system's long-term operational continuity.

Furthermore, the main drinking water line located within the work zone has been protected and secured, so the water supply continues to operate normally for the population.

Additionally, it is worth noting that the sanitation work in the Versalles neighborhood has been ongoing, with the goal of eliminating foul odors and protecting the health of the residents of this area.
