Road Closures Announced for Puerto Vallarta Anniversary
Restrictions are planned for Sunday, May 31st in the Downtown Area, road restrictions are expected to be in place by 5:00 p.m.
To commemorate Puerto Vallarta's 108th anniversary as a municipality and 58th as a city, municipal authorities announced road closures in the Historic Center on Sunday, May 31st, to ensure the safety of attendees and facilitate the activities.
The events are scheduled to begin around 3:00 p.m., so road restrictions are expected to be in place by 5:00 p.m.
Southbound traffic on Morelos Street will be closed at the intersection with Corona Street. As an alternate route, drivers should take Juárez Street, which will operate in both directions until Agustín Rodríguez Street, where they can rejoin Morelos Street to continue toward the Romantic Zone, where traffic will resume its normal flow.

Public transportation will be adjusted starting at 5:00 p.m., with a route closure at the intersection of Perú and Panamá streets. Buses will return north via Colombia Street.
The designated area for those attending the celebration will encompass Morelos Street, from Corona Street to Agustín Rodríguez Street. Therefore, it is recommended to take precautions, leave early, and follow the instructions of traffic personnel.
