PV to hold "Youth Race" this Sunday

The event is raising funds to support the city's Child Development Centers

This weekend, Puerto Vallarta will host the first edition of the “Youth Race: Kilometers of Hope,” in support of the Child Development Centers (CADIs). The event will take place on Sunday, April 26, at 7:00 a.m.

The race route will begin at the Agustín Flores Contreras Sports Complex, on Francisco Medina Ascencio Avenue, covering a distance of 5 kilometers before turning around at the “Isla Crossroads” at the corner of Fluvial Vallarta Avenue. Participants are advised to take precautions and use alternate routes.

The official t-shirt will be distributed on Saturday, April 25, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the DIF Vallarta System esplanade, located at Av. Paseo de las Palmas 105, Col. Barrio Santa María, and at the Municipal Administrative Unit (UMA) facilities, located at Av. Mezquital 604, Col. Los Portales.

Those who wish to participate in this family-friendly sporting event can register during kit distribution for a fee of 350 pesos per adult. Children under 11 years of age can participate free of charge.
