Puerto Vallarta has Risk Atlas, and it's been constantly updated

Civil Protection reported that the document continues to be strengthened to address urban growth and risks in the region

The Puerto Vallarta Civil Protection and Fire Department reported that the municipality does have a Risk Atlas, an instrument that is constantly being updated to reinforce prevention and emergency response actions, especially during the rainy season.

According to the agency, this document has existed since 2014 and was updated in 2014, with the goal of keeping the necessary information current for risk identification and population protection.

Likewise, work is underway on new adjustments to strengthen it and adapt it to the current conditions of growth, urban development, and risks present in the region.

The corporation reiterated its commitment to prevention, safety, and the protection of all Vallarta residents, emphasizing that these actions allow the municipality to be better prepared to face contingencies and natural phenomena.
