New park opens in La Floresta
More than 6,000 Residents Will Enjoy a Renovated and Safe Space
With great enthusiasm from children and neighbors, the new "Tukilandia" was inaugurated in the La Floresta neighborhood.
With the ribbon-cutting of this new recreational space, the city now boasts nine newly opened parks, in addition to two forests, for a total of 11 renovated spaces for community gatherings and healthy recreation.
This new park will benefit residents of La Floresta and surrounding neighborhoods, who now have a safe, well-lit, and equipped space for the whole family to enjoy. Among the improvements are new lighting throughout the park and new playground equipment.
