Municipal Government reaffirms support for PV's Livestock Sector

At the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Local Livestock Association, municipal and state authorities strengthened coordination

The Municipal Government reaffirmed its support for the livestock sector during the Extraordinary General Assembly of the Local Livestock Association, where producers, municipal and state authorities reviewed two priority issues: security during livestock transport and preventive actions against the screwworm.

At the meeting, it was announced that the City Council will continue to promote actions to strengthen the dissemination of the campaign against the screwworm.

In turn, the Secretary of Public Security for the State of Jalisco reported that the Regional Police and the State Highway Police will be available to livestock farmers to provide support during their transport routes and prevent livestock theft.

Finally, the Director of Agricultural Development highlighted the importance of this collaboration with state authorities. The assembly was led by Antonio Arreola Pérez, president of the Local Livestock Association of Puerto Vallarta.
