Clean-up Day Held in Canal in Valentín Gómez Farías Neighborhood
Two tons of waste were collected at the site, preventing them to reach the sea
A clean-up day was carried out in the canal of the Valentín Gómez Farías neighborhood, near the intersection of Agustín Melgar and Margarita Maza streets, with the goal of protecting Puerto Vallarta's beaches.
The activity was organized by the municipal government with the participation of municipal staff and volunteers, two tons of waste were collected at the site.

During the clean-up, the public was reminded of the importance of keeping public spaces clean, as trash thrown in streets, canals, and streams eventually reaches the sea, harming ecosystems and marine life.
