Firefighters and Civil Protection personnel from Puerto Vallarta responded to a garbage fire on the banks of the Mascota River, near the Getzamaní neighborhood, in an area approximately 5x10 meters.
The smoke caused discomfort among residents, so firefighters controlled and cooled the waste to extinguish the flames, preventing risks to the community.
Authorities are urging residents to avoid burning trash, as this type of activity can cause fires and harm health and the environment.
