Puerto Vallarta joined International AIDS Vigil
The vigil aimed to honor the memory of those lost to the epidemic and promote prevention
Groups and citizens walked silently along the Malecón, carrying candles and signs with messages of reflection, support, and solidarity during the international vigil under the theme "Illuminating the Legacy: Remember, Move Forward, Act," and the local event "Light for Memory and Action."

The walk concluded at the Malecón Arches, where the head of COMUSIDA (Municipal AIDS Committee) emphasized the importance of supporting those diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, guaranteeing free, confidential, and compassionate care through the committee. He also called for overcoming prejudice and strengthening prevention efforts.
Following this, a candle-lighting ceremony was held, and a minute of silence was observed in memory of those who have lost their lives to HIV/AIDS.
