City Council Approves Discounts of Up to 90% on Surcharges for Municipal Debts

This benefit will be in effect until December 31, 2026, and aims to facilitate taxpayer regularization

The Puerto Vallarta City Council approved discounts of up to 90 percent on surcharges and enforcement costs for taxpayers with outstanding debts on various municipal taxes.

The initiative aims to provide facilities for citizens to regularize their tax status with the municipality. The benefit will apply to those who pay their debts in full or formalize a payment plan. The program will be in effect until December 31, 2026.

With this measure, the Municipal Government seeks to support the economy of Puerto Vallarta families and promote compliance with tax obligations.
