Medical Clinics in PV Offer Free Care to Families
The clinics in Mojoneras, Ixtapa, and Coapinole offer medical consultations, dental care, optometry, laboratory services, and pharmacy services
These medical clinics provide a healthcare option for families in Puerto Vallarta by offering free, high-quality health services at various locations throughout the municipality. Currently, the system has three permanent clinics and one mobile unit, with the goal of bringing medical consultations and care closer to the community.
The clinics are located in Mojoneras at 216 Jalisco Street, corner of Zacatecas Street; in Ixtapa at 361 Mango Street, corner of Jalisco Street; and in Coapinole at 650 Ecuador Street, corner of 21 de Marzo Street. These locations allow for coverage of different areas of Puerto Vallarta and make it easier for residents to find the clinic closest to their homes.
According to the Director of Health Promotion, the program aims to facilitate access to comprehensive medical services, including general consultations, dentistry, optometry, laboratory services, and pharmacy. To enroll, interested individuals can go directly to any of the clinics with a copy of their official ID, CURP (Unique Population Registry Code), and proof of address.
These three clinics operate Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Municipal authorities encourage residents to locate their nearest clinic and take advantage of the available services for their health and the health of their families.
