Fire breaks near Butterfly Sanctuary

Yesterday, a fire broke out on a property known as the Butterfly Sanctuary, an area of approximately 20 hectares. Civil Protection and Puerto Vallarta Fire Department personnel arrived to extinguish the flames.
Through control maneuvers and the use of 2,000 liters of water, the firefighters managed to control the situation, preventing the fire from spreading to the golf course and the Butterfly Sanctuary.
Only 10 of the 20 hectares were affected, and fortunately, no injuries or property damage were reported.
