FESTVA: A meeting of cultures leaving a mark on PV

Invited states and countries received recognition for their participation in the Festival

The awards ceremony for the 20th Vallarta Azteca International Folklore Festival (FESTVA) was held in the courtyard of City Hall, presented by municipal authorities, cultural representatives, and organizers. This event is supported by the Municipal Government.

During the event, the delegations exchanged gifts representing their states and countries with municipal authorities in a gesture of friendship. Participating states included Aguascalientes, Sinaloa, Guanajuato, Baja California, Veracruz, Michoacán, and Jalisco, as well as invited countries such as Colombia, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, and Latvia.

In addition, an exhibition of dolls dressed in traditional costumes from the participating delegations was inaugurated and will be on display until May 8 at City Hall.
