PV strengthens tourism quality with “H” Distinctions Awards
EditorState authorities awarded 50 hotels for their excellence in hygiene and quality of tourist service
Puerto Vallarta reinforced its commitment to tourism quality by awarding 50 “H” Distinctions to hotels in the region for their compliance with hygiene standards in food and beverage handling, thus strengthening the trust and safety of visitors and workers in the sector.
Among the recognized hotels in the municipality are Casa Velas Boutique, Velas Vallarta, Las Palmas by the Sea, Fiesta Inn Puerto Vallarta, ONE Puerto Vallarta, and Sheraton Buganvilias Resort & Convention Center. Fourteen “Clean Point” quality seals were also awarded, with Velas Vallarta standing out with eight certifications.
The “H” Distinction is a recognition awarded by the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Health to establishments that comply with hygiene standards in the handling of food and beverages, guaranteeing quality and safety for consumers.
