Municipal Government Invites Citizens to Recycle Used Cooking Oil

Small actions generate big changes for the benefit of the environment. For this reason, the Municipal Government, through the Department of Social Participation and the Ecological Guard, invites the public to deposit their used cooking oil in the containers set up at various points throughout the city.

Collection will take place on Friday, October 30, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm at the following locations:

 La Aurora: Glorieta del Pescador (in front of the SEAPAL water pump).

 Lomas del Calvario: La Lija Sports & Cultural Center Dome.

 Tamarindos: Sports Complex (Flamingo St. corner of Pelícano St.).

 Ramblases: Juan Escutia Elementary School.

 5 de Diciembre: Mercado del Mar (Fish Market).

With the community's support, we will prevent used oil from being poured down the drain and reaching our beaches, rivers, and the ocean.
